Woman injured in Center City hit-and-run

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman was injured in a hit-and-run in Center City Philadelphia.

It happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday at 13th and Market streets.

Police say the woman had stepped off the curb when she was struck by a car.

The woman was taken to Jefferson University Hospital in stable condition.

Police believe the car that left the scene was a BMW.
