Woman killed in Burlington County crash

WILLINGBORO, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police in Burlington County are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a woman.

It happened around 1 a.m. Sunday at Beverly-Rancocas Road near Club House Drive in Willingboro.

Police say a woman lost control of her vehicle, struck a street light, then slammed into a tree.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no word at this time on what caused the driver to lose control of her vehicle.
