CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A worker is hospitalized after experiencing an on-the-job mishap in Center City Philadelphia.

It happened at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday at a construction site in the 200 block of South Broad Street.

Fire department officials say a man working on the 16th floor fell through to the 15th floor of a building.

The 30-year-old worker was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital to be treated for a possible neck injury.

He was listed in stable condition.

The circumstances surrounding the fall were not immediately clear.
