1 arrest after rental cars stolen in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- One person is in custody after a theft at a car rental lot in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened at 2 a.m. Thursday at Thrifty Car Rental in the 7500 block of Holstein Avenue.

Police say six men approached the front gate.

Some of them distracted the guard on duty while other suspect stole three cars.

The cars were recovered nearby on the 5700 block of Willow Street.

Police arrested one person and are searching for the other suspects.
