6-year-old girl shot in knee in Wilmington

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Wilmington police are investigating the shooting of a 6-year-old girl.

The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday on the 800 block of Bennett Street.

Police say the girl was struck in the right knee.

She was transported to Wilmington Hospital in stable condition.
