Burglar steals diapers from CVS in East Mount Airy

Philadelphia police are searching for a burglar who broke into a CVS store in the city's East Mount Airy section.

EAST MOUNT AIRY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a burglar who broke into a CVS store in the city's East Mount Airy section.

The incident happened shortly after midnight on October 10 at the store located on the 6300 block of Stenton Avenue.

Police say after breaking in through the rear doors, the suspect stole several items including one box of LUVS brand diapers and four individual packs of loose diapers, totaling $48.

The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 40 to 50-years-old with a thin build, drawn facial features and a medium brown complexion with a bald, patchy head. He was wearing a two-toned gray sweater and dark colored pants.
