Dr. Rachel Levine gets Senate confirmation, 1st openly transgender federal official for key post

The Senate has confirmed former Pennsylvania Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine as the nation's assistant secretary of health. She is the first openly transgender federal official to win Senate confirmation.
