Suspect sought in Wawa theft in Society Hill

SOCIETY HILL (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a thief who stole several cans of energy drinks from a Wawa in the city's Society Hill section last month.

It happened back on September 18 inside the store on the 500 block of South 2nd Street.

Police say the suspect was caught on surveillance entering the Wawa at 3:40 p.m.

He walked to the back of the store and placed all the cans of Red Bull into his backpack.

When he was confronted by the manager, the thief ran and fled the store in an unknown direction.
