Teen shot in head in Tioga-Nicetown dies

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a fatal shooting in Tioga-Nicetown.

It happened around 4:10 p.m. Monday along the 4200 block of Hicks Street.

Police say the 19-year-old male victim was shot multiple times including in the head.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There is no word on a suspect.
