Police: Man shot in head in Southwest Philadelphia drives to hospital

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a man who was shot in the head in Southwest Philadelphia managed to drive himself to the hospital.

The shooting happened around 3:45 p.m. Monday at 56th Street and Greenway Avenue.

Police say, after being shot in the head, the male victim was still able to drive himself to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

There is no word on his condition.

No arrests have been made.
