A new study looking at men and exercise shows every minute you hang in there during a workout in your younger years pays off in the long run.
Researchers at Johns Hopkins followed nearly 5,000 men 18 to 30 years old.
They found every extra minute a person was able to run before they had to stop was linked to a 12-percent decrease in heart attacks and strokes.
So this is obviously good news if you were an athlete when you were younger.
But if you missed that boat, other studies still show that exercise is good for your heart no matter when you begin.
