Minions encourage learning

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Students at one Philadelphia school were greeted by some lovable and loyal friends.

The Minions created quite the excitement at Potter-Thomas Elementary School in North Philadelphia.

The surprise visit was for 200 students who have good grades and great attendance.

The kids were given Minions hats and stickers.

Today's treat was made possible thru a partnership between Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Comcast to encourage students to continue to do well in school.
