An Indiana boy who's battling a rare genetic condition has already gotten his Christmas wish thanks to people all around the world.

Eight-year-old Jack Weaver was born with a disorder that can cause delayed development, seizures and other medical issues.

His parents say the past few months have been rough.

And for Christmas, Jack asked Santa to bring him a mailbox full of cards.

His mom posted his wish on Facebook and strangers from all over the world have responded.

Jack plans to cover the walls of his room with all those cards.

His parents say the cards have been a comfort to him when he's having a bad day.
