Police: Thieves follow UPS truck, steal package from doorstep

CASTLE HILLS, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are searching for a group of package thieves in New Castle County, Delaware.

Police say the suspects were travelling in a silver minivan and following a UPS truck in Castle Hills.

Witnesses saw one man exit the vehicle on Tuesday afternoon.

He left with boxes that had just been delivered to the victim's doorstep on Chelwynne Road.

Investigators are trying to track down the culprits and their vehicle.

It had a temporary Delaware registration.
