Man blocks elevator exit, robs passenger

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for the man who blocked an elevator exit, then robbed a passenger of more than $800 dollars.

The robbery happened at 5:45 p.m. on November 20th in an office building at 4445 Holden Street.

Surveillance video released by police shows the victim trying to get off the elevator, but the suspect stands in his way.

The victim appears to shove the robbery suspect out of the elevator. Police say there was a struggle, and that victim was robbed of $836 in cash.

The robber then fled down a fire escape.

Philadelphia police are looking for the man who blocked an elevator exit, then robbed a passenger of more than $800 dollars.

The victim was not hurt.
