"Music Meets Medicine" at duPont

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Opera Delaware's Timothy Mix performed Friday, accompanied by Jeffrey Miller on the piano.

This marked the first performance of the "Music Meets Medicine" series, at the Nemours duPont Hospital for Children.

Hospital officials said the music is meant to lift patients' spirits, alleviate suffering, and promote healing.

Opera will return to the hospital atrium later this month, and again in February.
