A truck crash is causing heavy delays on the Northeast Extension in Montgomery County.

WORCESTER TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A truck crash caused heavy delays on the Northeast Extension in Montgomery County.

The crash happened just after 2 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway (I-476) near Morris Road in Worcester Township.

Police say the driver of the truck hit a median around mile marker 26.7.

The truck was heavily damaged and spilled about 200 gallons of diesel fuel on the road.

The driver of the truck was not hurt, and one lane of traffic was getting by the scene.

The southbound traffic was backed up to the Lansdale interchange.

The truck was carrying items from Amazon.com.
