Google is finally revealing how much it paid a man who owned the Internet giant's domain name for just one minute last year.

According to ABC News, Sanmay Ved bought Google.com in October after he saw it on sale for just $12. Google immediate recognized the mistake and canceled the purchase about a minute later.

Ved never said how much Google rewarded him for the sale cancellation, but the company recently revealed it in a blog post.

The company shelled out $6,006.13. It's the numeric spelling for Google. Ved donated the entire sum, and Google matched the donation.
