Four teenagers are recovering after a crash outside Brandywine High School.

BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police say four teenagers are recovering after a crash outside Brandywine High School in New Castle County.

It happened at 7:14 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Foulk Road in Brandywine Hundred.

Police say a 17-year-old girl driving a 2004 Honda Civic was turning left from Foulk Road onto Foulkstone Plaza Drive when she drove into the path of an oncoming 2010 BMW 328i driven by a 16-year-old boy.

The girl and a 17-year-old female passenger, who were both wearing a seat belts, were taken to A.I. DuPont Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old male passenger were taken to the same hospital. Both were also wearing seat belts. Their injuries were also said to be non-life-threatening.

The 17-year-old was cited by troopers for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.
