Woman, 2 men stabbed in North Philadelphia; suspect in custody

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police arrested a suspect after a stabbing left a woman and two men injured in North Philadelphia.

It happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. Sunday along the 400 block of West Venango Street.

Police say an 18-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were each stabbed once in the stomach. They were taken to Temple University Hospital where they are listed in stable condition.

An 18-year-old man suffered a stab wound to the hand, but refused medical treatment.

A 29-year-old man was taken into police custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
