2 men found shot on City Avenue in Overbrook Park

OVERBROOK PARK -- Philadelphia police are investigating a double shooting in the Overbook Park section of the city.

Police were called around 10:40 p.m. Monday to Haverford Road and City Avenue.

Arriving officers found a 25-year-old man shot in the chest, arm and leg.

He is hospitalized in critical condition.

Police say the man was located near an unoccupied black 2016 Ford Fusion, which had a gun, spent shells, and blood inside.

As police searched the area they found a second shooting victim, described as being in his mid-20's. He was discovered at 77th Street and City Avenue. He had been shot multiple times and is in critical condition.

The names of the victims have not been released.
