Police: Woman pulls gun on kids playing with water guns

READING, Pa. (WPVI) -- Children playing with water guns in Reading, Berks County, had a real scare this weekend when a woman pulled out a real gun and pointed it at them.

24-year-old Billie Jo George is now in jail on a variety of charges.

Residents of the 1200 block of Green Street are still stunned by what they saw on Sunday.

"She was like, 'you all have water guns, I want to go get my gun.' That's when she brought the gun outside and pointed it at all the kids outside," one neighbor said.

Then, George allegedly fired a round into the street.

Police were called and took her into custody.

No one was hurt.
