Child obesity rates in Philly drop 6.5% over 7 years

There's another small sign of progress on improving America's eating habits.

Obesity among children in Philadelphia dropped slightly, 6.5%, between 2006 and 2013.

One in five students between kindergarten and 12th grade in the city are still obese.

But, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation says healthier nutrition standards in schools, plus efforts to make healthy food more available do seem to be working.
