Teenage boy, young woman shot and wounded in Overbrook

OVERBROOK (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in Overbrook that sent a teenage boy and a young woman to the hospital.

It happened after 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of North 63rd Street.

The victim, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

His condition has not been released.

A 25-year-old woman was also shot. She was wounded in the leg and is in stable condition at the same hospital.

Police say one shell casing was found at the scene, inside the hallway of an apartment building.

Investigators say the same bullet may have hit both victims.

They are looking for a 2004 or 2005 Chevy Impala last seen heading south on 63rd Street.
