CHELTENHAM, Pa. -- A man has pleaded guilty to holding four firefighters hostage at gunpoint after he was terminated from the department where they all volunteered.

The (Doylestown) Intelligencer reports 27-year-old Paul Jordan pleaded guilty Thursday to kidnapping, terroristic threat and weapons charges.

Cheltenham Township police arrested Jordan after he held the victims in the basement of LaMott Fire Company in Cheltenham Township on March 31, 2015. No one was injured, though Jordan fired one shot into a wall before surrendering to police.

Jordan was angry because he was expelled after a prospective member accused him of sexual harassment.

Several firefighters escaped when Jordan first pulled the gun, but he didn't surrender the rest until after a SWAT team responded.
