Dollar General employee held at gunpoint in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Dollar General employee was opening a store in South Philadelphia when she was attacked and held at gunpoint.

Startling surveillance video from last week shows the armed man forcing her into the store on the 2100 block of South 23rd Street with the gun pointed straight at her head.

He eventually directed her to the safe which she was able to open.

The robber got away with cash and is still on the run.
