A billboard campaign that started in Arizona has a big message for ISIS.

The billboard's message is sponsored by #actualMuslims.

It's paid for by a national Muslim-American non-profit, along with local Muslims who want people to know that the terrorist group ISIS doesn't represent them, and doesn't represent Islam.

"We want our neighbors to know we're colleagues and classmates and neighbors, and we want our neighbors to know that we don't approve of this at all. This is not representative of Islam," said Prof. Dr. Aneesah Nadir from Arizona State University.

They say although ISIS claims to practice Islam, they could not be further from the actual teachings of the religion.

More of these billboards are going up across the country.
