16-year-old boy shot in Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a 16-year-old boy was shot and wounded in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

It happened on the 700 block of East Willard Street around 10:30 a.m.

The victim was hit in the lower back.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

Police say one arrest has been made, but they didn't reveal if it was the gunman.
