SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Eagles have stepped up to help a youth football team, which was targeted by thieves.
The South Philly Sharks - made up of 8 to 10 year olds - were about to play a playoff game when someone broke into the storage unit and stole their equipment.
The Eagles reached out with a big donation.
They are providing the team with new yard markers, a paint lining machine, and pylons.
And there's one more thing: The Eagles have invited the team to play its championship game Saturday at the NovaCare Complex.
