2 seriously injured in head-on crash in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after two people were seriously injured in a head-on crash in Wilmington, Delaware.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday along the 1300 block of East 12th Street, close to Gander Hill Prison.

The cars involved were heavily-damaged.

Both male drivers were rushed to Christiana Hospital with serious injuries.

A stretch of 12th street is closed, at this time, while police investigate.
