2 firefighters injured in Burlco house blaze

SOUTHAMPTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Two firefighters were injured in a fast-moving house blaze in Southampton Township, New Jersey.

The fire started around 2:30 a.m. Friday on the 500 block of Ridge Road.

The flames quickly spread to the upper floors and went to a second alarm.

An extra tanker truck was called in for the water supply because the house was located in the woods.

Both firefighters were treated for smoke inhalation at Virtua Memorial Hospital. No word on their conditions.

The fire was placed under control. But no word on what caused the blaze.
