4 forced from homes after Port Richmond fire
Four people were forced from their homes following a fire in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia.

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- Four people were forced from their homes following a fire in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia.

The fire started around 1:40 a.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Kensington Avenue.

All four, who lived in apartments on the first and second floors, managed to escape unharmed.

Firefighters contained the fire to the basement, but there is smoke and water damage to the apartments.

Investigators are looking for the cause.
