WESTAMPTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- State Police are investigating a deadly crash along the New Jersey Turnpike in Westampton, Burlington County.
The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. Monday on the southbound side of the highway.
Police say a tractor trailer driver had stepped out of his vehicle between Exits 4 and 5.
That's when he was struck by a pickup truck, which then rear-ended the trailer.
There was no word on if the pickup truck driver was injured.
