Police investigate shooting death of 19-year-old in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 19-year-old man was shot and killed on North 55th Street in West Philadelphia.

It happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday on the 500 block of North 55th Street.

Police said the victim was shot twice in the back of the head and in the back.

He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are looking for nearby cameras for any clues on the suspects.
