FYI Philly: Recognizing local businesses giving back
This week on FYI Philly, it's our annual "Give Back" special, and we're celebrating businesses that do just that! From restaurants helping the less fortunate to a family nut recipe that helps raise money for cancer and a mobile boutique making fashion a fundraiser. Plus, soaps providing clean water for children in need and a nearly century-old festival raising money for kids in Delaware.

Yes, there's soup for you
Philadelphia is now home to two restaurants opened by top chefs and dedicated to those in need. Rooster Soup Company donates 100 percent of its profits to Broad Street Ministry, while EAT Café welcomes everyone to come to the table and pay as you can.

Daisy days at CHOP

Soap sales with a cause
UNICEF estimates that every day, a thousand children around the world die of waterborne diseases. When a local husband and wife discovered that tragic statistic, they saw it as a call to action and created Hand in Hand Soap. Flowers for kids
As the saying goes, April showers bring May flowers. But for the past 97 years, it's also brought the Wilmington Flower Market, a three-day festival held every Mother's Day weekend to raise money for children in Delaware.
