Man critical after 3-alarm fire in Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- A man is in critical condition after a three-alarm fire broke out in Mercer County.

The fire broke out around 6:45 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Geneese Street in Trenton.

Upon arrival, officials said fire was showing at a two-story house.

The fire lasted about an hour and was brought under control just before 8 p.m., officials said.

A fireman was treated and released for minor smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
