2 boys, 6, take a joyride in a truck in Kansas

NEWTON, Kan. (WPVI) -- A pair of joy-riding 6-year-olds caused extensive damage to their Kansas neighborhood.

Police say the duo stole a truck belonging to a parent for a three-block spin on Tuesday afternoon.

When it was done, six vehicles, including the truck, and several mailboxes were damaged.

One of the children was hospitalized, the other was released to relatives.
