TABERNACLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- Smoke poured from the roof of a home as firefighters battled a blaze in South Jersey Friday night.

The incident occurred around 8 p.m. Friday on the 400 block of Carranza Road in Tabernacle, Burlington County.

Two people were rescued and treated for smoke inhalation. They are expected to be okay.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
