Fmr. Temple receivers wants Eagles job. Ducis Rodgers reports during Action News at 6 p.m. on June 12, 2017.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Rashaun Sligh has been camping outside the Eagles NovaCare facility in South Philadelphia the past few days. He's looking for a job.

But Sligh should be taken seriously.

He was a receiver at Temple University and attended Northeast Catholic High School.

"I'm out here trying to get the attention of my hometown Philadelphia Eagles. I really think I can compete at this level and I'm hoping to get the attention for a workout or at least a conversation or something to get myself on this team," Sligh said Monday.

The 24-year old is just chasing a dream, hoping for a tryout with his local NFL team.

"If I had any message for anyone it would be you got to go out there, anything your heart desires, sometimes you got to be willing to deal with certain adversities to make it happen. To me, standing out for six days in the sun, getting the respect of players and the coaching staff, maybe that's just the beginning, but it has to start somewhere," Sligh said.
