Police investigate shooting that left 1 injured in Frankford

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that has left one injured in Philadelphia's Frankford section.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday in the area of Bridge and Hawthorne Streets.

Police say they arrived to find a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The male was transported to the hospital by police.

No information has been released on his condition at this time.
