Point Breeze triple shooting leaves victims critical

POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- A shooting in Philadelphia's Point Breeze neighborhood left three men hospitalized.

The incident occurred before 9 p.m. Thursday on the 1600 block of South 21st Street near Morris Street.

Officers arrived to find a 22-year-old man who had been shot in the stomach and arm. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

A second victim, a 35-year-old man, was also taken to Penn Presbyterian with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Both victims were listed in extremely critical condition.

Police found a third victim, a 21-year-old man, at the intersection of 21st and Morris streets.

Initial reports indicated he had been shot twelve times.

He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition.

There have been no arrests.

Police are working to determine what motivated the shooter or shooters.
