Man on scooter shot 7 times in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was killed after being shot seven times in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 5:40 p.m. Monday on the 2700 block of North 22nd Street.

Police say 29-year-old Sherman Williams was riding a scooter when he was hit by a hail of bullets.

Police are searching for a suspect.
