Annual Turkey Drop provides free birds to hundreds of families

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Hundreds of families, who otherwise couldn't afford a holiday meal, will be eating turkey this Thanksgiving thanks to a huge food drive.

Action News was there as dozens of frozen birds were delivered to the Kimmel Center.

The Annual Turkey Drop is sponsored by WMGK and radio host John DeBella.

6ABC is a proud supporter of the event, once again, donating $1,000 to the cause.
