Fire damages home in Frankford

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- A home in Philadelphia's Frankford section was severely damaged during an early morning fire.

Crews were called to the 1300 block of Overington Street around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, they found flames shooting from the first floor and spreading to the second and third floors.

Everyone inside the home was able to safely escape.

It is unclear as to what started the fire.
