Driver critical after colliding with tractor trailer in Cherry Hill, N.J.

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A driver is in critical condition after a collision involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger car in Cherry Hill.

It happened at 6:30 a.m. Monday on Haddonfield-Berlin Road (Route 561) at Morris Drive.

Police tell Action News a motorist slammed into the tractor-trailer, which was stopped at the time.

That driver was critically injured.

Video from Chopper 6 showed a heavily damaged passenger car partially underneath the trailer portion of the big rig.

The tractor-trailer appeared to have jackknifed. It was blocking all lanes of Haddon Berlin Road.

Police remained on the scene.
