Philadelphia police hold free gun lock giveaway

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia sheriffs will once again be handing out free gun locks to city residents Saturday.

The Action Cam was in West Philadelphia Friday as the distribution began.

Along with the locks, they've handed out gun safety pledge cards to children, to make them aware of the dangers of firearms.

Saturday's giveaway is at the 12th District on Woodland Ave in Southwest Philadelphia.
