Eating more leafy greens can help boost brain benefits
Eating more leafy greens can help boost brain benefits: Ali Gorman reports during Action News at 5pm on December 20, 2017.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- There's more evidence that eating vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables, is good for you.

One study says it could make your mind younger.

The study in the journal Neurology found people who eat one to two servings of green leafy veggies per day had lower rates of memory loss and dementia.

The researchers say statistically, the effect was similar to being eleven years younger.

Still this study can't prove it's the nutrients that make the difference, but for many people eating more vegetables won't do any harm.

And I don't know about 11 years, but some research shows eating more vegetables can also make your skin and your face appear younger.
