Art used to help break down barriers for patients
Residents receiving memory care at Homestead at Hamilton are painting a colorful mural as reported during Action News at 4 on August 6, 2018.

HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Art is being used to help break down barriers between patients receiving care in South Jersey.

Residents receiving memory care at Homestead at Hamilton are painting a colorful mural.

The goal is to promote enjoyment and make everyone feel included no matter what stage of care they are in.

Homestead cares for people who need assisted living and those who have dementia.

The artwork will hopefully create something they are familiar with each time they see it.
