Police: 4 shot in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a multiple shooting in South Philadelphia.

Chopper 6 was over 24th and Moore streets and the 1800 block of Ringgold street Thursday night.

Police said at around 8:10 p.m. at each location, a person with gunshot wounds was found.

Both individuals were transported by police to Penn Presbyterian Hospital. Police said one of the victims, a 28-year-old black male, was shot one time in the chest. He is listed in critical but stable condition.

A short time after their arrival, two additional gunshot victims arrived at Penn Presbyterian Hospital by private car. Both of those victims are stable with non life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police said the three other victims involved ranged in age from 14 to 15 years old.

No arrests have been made.
