Car erupts into flames after lightning strike in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Lightning struck a utility pole and brought wires down onto a car in Ocean City, New Jersey.

The car became engulfed in flames.

It happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday on 27th Street near Asbury Avenue.

Another car was damaged in the incident and about 15 electric customers lost power.

However, no injuries have been reported.
